[ARCHIVED] ARIZONA SHERIFF'S ASSOCIATION ADOPTS THE MAN CRUSADE

MAN UP CRUSADE

At the Arizona Sheriffs' Association (ASA) meeting held on February 21, 2019, the ASA overwhelming voted to endorse and adopt the Man Up Crusade in taking a stand against the issue of domestic violence in this country.

National statistics show that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. The Man Up's Crusade is endorsed and supported by the Western States Sheriffs' Association, the Southwest Border Sheriffs Coalition, the Sheriffs' Association of Texas and the Idaho Sheriffs' Association and also has a letter of support by the National Sheriffs Association.

The Arizona Sheriffs Association is honored to be a partner with you in supporting this honorable cause and to help spread the word with our county family advocacy centers and PRCA sanctioned rodeos held in our Arizona Counties.

We stand together in the fight against domestic violence.

Respectfully,

Jim Driscoll

President – Arizona Sheriffs’ Association Coconino County Sheriff
