The Arizona Sheriffs Association (ASA) sends our condolences to Senator John McCain and his family as they grapple with his recent cancer diagnosis. A never-tiring voice for important public safety priorities, he is an American hero to us all and cancer cannot diminish an enduring hero. From supporting Arizona’s law enforcement to working to serve the brave Americans who have fought and died for our country, Senator McCain embodies the American spirit. The ASA wishes him and his family a vibrant, safe recovery as he undergoes treatment. We hope to soon see Senator McCain again doing what he does best: fighting on behalf of Arizonans and all Americans in the U.S. Senate.
